Good pub in central hexham with good rooms, let us store our bikes in the bar area, good breakfast
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great communication and always helpful. Rooms were clean and the bathroom was too. Beds were comfy enough. Breakfast was nice and variety to choose from including cereal, toast crossants which you help yourself too. Coffee tea and juices. Full english breakfast was good. Parking is available behind the hotel in the car park shared with Tescos. Would recommend.
Good value budget hotel including good breakfast. Interior is does look tired abut budget priced. I stayed here once before and the room I got this time was also a single room but much better. So things may vary according to the room. Receptionist is very friendly. Food sees to be not served after 8pm although the receptionist was able to (and suggested ) I my case to make a toaster.
I've never stayed in the rooms but a friend has who i called to see and they are lovely, super clean and good priced. Food OMG They do the best Sunday dinners we travel from washington to hexham for a Sunday roast. We'll worth a visit. Staff are amazing.. Really good ppl go above and beyond. They work as a team so even when packed they absolutely boss it. I love going here. So if yr thinking of going . You won't regret it.
Great welcome and service from Evette, she seems to do almost everything from reception, bar, waitress and housekeeping and does it all with a smile! So friendly and helpful, great asset for the hotel.
I came with my twin brother and stayed in room 8. Lovely room with a nice comfortable bed quite high up suitable for me as I'm disabled however TV did not work and one lamp. Evette a very nice lady with many talents and always with a smile, lovely cooked breakfast what a lovely stay we had. A hearty well done Yvette for making our stay very pleasant.
I stayed here Wed. 27th Nov. 24 as I had an early hospital appointment next day in Hexam, 5 minute walk from hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I paid £50 which also included a lovely breakfast. The car parking was 2 minutes from hotel and free for 24 hours. This hotel is probably the best location located 2 minutes from Hexam train station and 5 to 10 minutes from everthing else, river walks, shops, hospital and tourist attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was on the top floor, very nice, comfortable and warm, considering the outside temperature was -2°C. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

We stayed there with our two kids and a dog. All five of us enjoyed the stay. If we're ever in Hexham again, definitely would choose the Station Inn again
What a great find! We stopped over, on the way back from Scotland. The only negative is the lack of secure parking for the bikes, so they were chained up on the walkway outside the front. Apparently they've never had any problems, and ours were fine. And the food is really good, the chips are the best I've had in years.
